Garin College is the first new Catholic Secondary School to be build for 30 years and was also the first new secondary school of the millennium.

The school comprises six main buildings constructed in structural steel and timber framing. The structural form has been highlighted in the architecture of the buildings with the main steel trusses exposed and brightly painted.
