This large and modern 6000m2 + supermarket fits in well with the local Art Deco Architecture around central Napier.
The clients brief was to provide an open market floor with no internal supports in this area. The main structure comprises structural steel frames and precast concrete panels. There are three separate HiBond mezzanine floor structures supported on steel beams and concrete panels. The building is shallow founded on reinforced concrete pads and strip footings on Engineered fill.
