This was an upgrade of the existing Rugby League Park and is now the training facility for the Hurricanes and Wellington Lions rugby teams.

The new addition to the existing grandstand included a large gym and weight training area, team lounge, and offices. The structure comprised reinforced concrete block shear walls, hollowcore suspended floor, and steel frames. The foundations were strip footings and pads on augered concrete piles.
